PURCHASE OPTIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy applies to products sold using a pre-order purchase option. Note and Nib does not currently offer subscriptions or recurring-payment purchases.

PRE-ORDERS

A pre-order allows you to reserve an item before it arrives and becomes available for general sale.

The estimated availability or dispatch date will be shown on the relevant product page. This date is an estimate and may change due to supplier, customs or transport delays.

PLACING A PRE-ORDER

When you place a pre-order, you are purchasing and reserving the item in advance.

You will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check that the products, delivery address and contact details shown are correct.

CANCELLING BEFORE DISPATCH

You may cancel a pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched.

To cancel, email info@noteandnib.ie or use the “Returns and cancellations” option in your customer account.

Please include your name and order number. If the order has not been dispatched, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method. No cancellation fee will be charged.

AFTER DISPATCH

Once a pre-order has been dispatched, it will be treated as a standard online order.

You may notify us that you wish to cancel or return the order within 14 days of receiving it. You will then have a further 14 days to return the item.

Return postage for a change-of-mind return is the customer’s responsibility. Full details are available in our Return and Refund Policy.

PRE-ORDER DELAYS

Pre-order dates are estimates, and delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control.

If there is a significant change to the expected availability or dispatch date, we will contact you using the details supplied with your order.

You may choose to continue waiting or cancel the pre-order for a full refund at any time before dispatch.

If we cannot supply the item, we will cancel the pre-order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.

MIXED ORDERS

If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will normally be held and dispatched together when all items are available.

If you would like the in-stock items sent separately, contact us at info@noteandnib.ie. An additional delivery charge may apply.

If you cancel only the pre-order item, any remaining in-stock items will be processed as a standard order. Delivery charges may be recalculated where necessary—for example, if the remaining order no longer qualifies for free delivery.

REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

We will process the refund without undue delay and within the time required under applicable consumer law. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under Irish or applicable consumer law.
